Christopher J. Schulte
Chris Schulte is an associate at CJ Lake, LLC. After earning his Bachelor’s degree with honors from Harvard University, he worked in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia while completing his J.D. at Georgetown University Law Center. He has served as a judicial law clerk in trial and appellate courts in New Hampshire and New York. In private practice in firms in New York and Washington, DC, he has successfully litigated on behalf of insurance companies, employee benefits funds, and employers in federal courts nationwide on a range of issues, including employment, labor and ERISA issues, as well as insurance coverage and banking and financial matters.
At CJ Lake, he continues to advise and litigate on behalf of employers and employer associations on employment and business immigration matters, including wage and hour, H-2A and H-2B non-immigrant worker programs, and tax issues. He also works on public policy issues involving Congress and Federal agencies on issues related to immigration, agriculture, insurance, clean energy, health care, environment, and transportation.
He is a member of the District of Columbia, New York, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire bars, and has been admitted to practice before federal district and appellate courts throughout the U.S.
