Andrew C. Lund
Andrew Lund is a Government Relations Associate at CJ Lake, LLC. His professional background covers a wide variety of policy areas on the federal and state level including Defense, Health, Transportation, Judiciary, Agriculture, and Homeland Security issues. He has worked for former Congressman Brian Bilbray (R-CA) in Washington, D.C. and his local office in San Diego and has a unique understanding of policy and how it impacts people in their daily lives. He also worked for former State Assemblyman George Plescia (R-San Diego) as a local representative providing explanation to members of the community and business groups on legislation and the efforts of the Assemblyman.
During his time with Congressman Bilbray, Andrew worked on legislation to help veterans returning from war find jobs, a bill to reduce regulatory burdens on water ports and increase economic activity, and legislation on preserving National Veterans’ Memorials among others. He also was involved in building coalitions in support of local funding and Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), transportation projects for San Diego, and represented local interests in Washington D.C. Further, he worked to preserve U.S. shipbuilding and defend the military in San Diego County from encroachment. These actions helped the military in San Diego to continue their important training missions for military engagements overseas.
Andrew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California at Irvine and a Master’s degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
